Fourth of July

Dependable Old Faithful. One of God's Amazing Wonders.

We floated the Buffalo River. Brrr Cold, but Beautiful and worth it!

Roastin' our Sneakers/ Flip flops- oh yeah & a marshmallow or two.

We went to Island Park and Yellowstone with our family (Shurtliff side). Devin's 14th B-day was on July 4th and he loves Island Park so it was a great weekend. It was also mom's B-day. I'm sure the parties in Heaven are Amazing. I'm so grateful to know she is there. Happy Birthday MOM and DEVIN!

I am glad you had a wonderful time in one of our favorite parts of the earth. We love Island park. V and I stayed in a cabin close to macks Inn and we would canoe up and down the river. It was in October and was it cold then, but, oh so beautiful. We love to raft the river and bought each of our kids their own rafts one year. It was a blast.
These are the moments/memories that make families strong!
I too thought of your mom, and how she always thought everyone on the 4th was celebrating her birthday when we were young:) I know she is close to us and knows what you are feeling... We all miss her. (the darn sweet tears just come.)
Please tell Devin Happy Birthday for us.
We are so looking forward to the reunion!
